The east African country of Tanzania was ranked second lowest in 2013 on the Global Hunger Index, with a proportion of undernourished persons worse than any other country after Burundi. In addition to hunger, issues with water contamination have led to disease and health problems among it’s people. Lack of housing scarcity of jobs and limited funds for educational tuition also afflicts this underserved country. While both public and private schools are offered in this country, the public schools are often very low in quality education, resulting in poor test scores. Low test scores has resulted in students not being able to continue to secondary education.
